Terms of Service.

These Terms explain the Free Website Program, the free 30 day SCG Field Hub trial, the connected contractor website included with the trial, and the ongoing SCG Core and Everything Handled plans.

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the Free Website Program, the free 30 day SCG Field Hub trial and paid services provided by Service Contractor Growth (“SCG,” “we,” “us” or “our”). Requesting that SCG begin a free trial, accessing or using Field Hub, or providing payment, written approval or authorization for paid services constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

Submitting a Free Website Program application does not create a payment obligation or start the 30 day trial. If a written proposal, invoice or service-specific agreement expressly conflicts with these Terms, the service-specific written terms control for that particular service.

Free Website Program — Applications

SCG accepts applications for its ongoing Free Website Program and reviews each submission for business fit and onboarding capacity. Applying is free, does not guarantee approval or a start date, and does not require a purchase. SCG decides which service businesses it can support under the standard website and Field Hub offering.

When you provide a Facebook business page or other business-page link, you authorize SCG to review and use publicly displayed business information, branding, service information, photos and other non-confidential business-facing content from that page for the limited purpose of preparing the website and onboarding approved applicants.

Application submission alone does not provide a website or Field Hub account. If approved, SCG will discuss the scope and request necessary business materials before developing and launching the connected trial website.

No payment is required to apply. SCG retains ownership of trial website code and reusable template materials, subject to the Website Ownership section below.

Free 30 Day Website + Field Hub Trial

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, SCG may offer a free 30 day trial of SCG Field Hub with no setup fee. The connected contractor website is included with the trial so the website and Field Hub workflow can be configured together.

The standard free-trial setup may include:

  • SCG Field Hub onboarding and configuration for the client business.
  • Personalization of a connected contractor website around the client’s branding, services and service area.
  • Up to a five-page website, based on the approved scope and business needs.
  • Mobile-friendly design and estimate-request functionality capable of passing supported customer and job information into Field Hub while Field Hub is active.
  • SCG-hosted trial website access on a temporary web address, or connection to an existing client-owned domain when practical and authorized by the client.
  • Reasonable technical setup and launch support for the trial configuration.
  • 30 days of access to SCG Field Hub once the trial begins.

“Up to five pages” means the final page count is based on the approved scope and the needs of the client’s business; it does not require SCG to create unused or unnecessary pages solely to reach five pages.

SCG generally aims to complete the standard trial setup within 2–3 business days after the client approves the direction and SCG has received the completed intake information, required photos or content, approvals and any access reasonably needed. This is a target turnaround time, not a guarantee.

The trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. The 30 day trial begins when the connected website and Field Hub are live and ready for normal use. Applying does not start the trial. Recurring billing begins only if the client affirmatively agrees to continue with a paid SCG plan.

Trial Website, Hosting and Domains

The connected website included with the free trial may be hosted by SCG on a temporary SCG-controlled web address at no charge during the trial. If the client already owns a domain and provides the access or DNS authorization reasonably required, SCG may connect the trial website to that existing domain.

New domain registration is not included in the free trial. If the client wants to register a new permanent domain, the registration cost is the client’s responsibility unless SCG expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

If the client does not continue with a paid SCG plan after the trial, Field Hub access and the SCG-hosted trial website may be disabled or taken offline. If an existing client-owned domain was connected, SCG may remove or disable the SCG website configuration while the client continues to own and control the domain itself.

During the free trial, the client does not acquire ownership of the customized trial website files merely by participating in the trial. The client may not copy, republish, transfer or continue using the SCG-hosted trial website after the trial ends unless the client continues as a paying customer or SCG agrees otherwise in writing.

No payment means no refund process is needed. If SCG is not a fit, the client can simply decline to continue with a paid plan when the free trial ends.

Client Responsibilities and Approval

You are responsible for providing accurate business information and timely access to the materials SCG reasonably needs to perform the services. This may include your business name, services, service area, contact information, photos, logo, domain access, Google account access and other relevant materials.

You represent that you own, license or otherwise have permission to use any photos, logos, trademarks, written content or other materials you provide or direct SCG to use. You are responsible for reviewing the finished website and business information for factual accuracy, including services, service areas, pricing claims, licenses, phone numbers and other business details.

Delays in providing information, approvals, access or required verification steps may delay launch or ongoing service work.

Free Trial Access and Support

The free 30 day trial begins when SCG confirms both the connected website and Field Hub are live and ready for normal use, unless SCG confirms a different start date in writing. The free trial does not by itself authorize recurring charges.

During the trial, Field Hub may include connected website-form intake, customer and job details, uploaded project photos, lead and job tracking, scheduling, customer communication shortcuts, navigation, job timing, follow-up reminders, review workflow tools and service-area mapping features made available to the client.

SCG may provide SCG-managed trial hosting, technical maintenance, reasonable routine website or estimate-form checks, reasonable routine text/photo/service updates, domain/DNS assistance for an existing client-owned domain and direct SCG support during the trial.

New pages, major redesigns, substantial copywriting, custom functionality, large content migrations, new-domain registration or work outside the standard trial scope may require a separate written agreement or payment.

SCG Core — Field Hub + Website Care — $99/Month

After the free 30 day trial, SCG Core is currently $99 per month, unless a different price is stated in writing for a particular client.

The plan includes continued access to SCG Field Hub plus SCG-managed hosting, technical maintenance, routine website and estimate-form checks, reasonable routine text/photo/service updates, domain/DNS assistance and direct SCG support.

Field Hub features may evolve over time as SCG improves the service. SCG may add, modify, replace or discontinue individual non-material features, provided the service remains substantially consistent with the core function described at the time of purchase.

SCG Core is month-to-month. If the plan ends, Field Hub access and connected Field Hub-specific workflow features may stop at the end of the paid service period. SCG-managed website hosting, maintenance, edits and technical support also end unless a separate written arrangement is made.

Everything Handled — $149/Month

Everything Handled is currently offered at $149 per month, unless a different price is stated in writing, and includes all services in SCG Core plus Google Business Profile management.

Google Business Profile management may include setup and verification assistance, profile updates, project photos, business information, service and service-area updates, up to four Google posts each month and basic review-response assistance.

Everything Handled is intended to keep the website, Field Hub workflow and ongoing Google Business Profile management under one SCG plan. It does not include Google Ads management or Google advertising spend.

Google controls Business Profile eligibility, verification methods, suspensions, reinstatement decisions, ranking and platform policies. SCG cannot guarantee verification, approval, ranking, restoration or continued display of any profile.

Everything Handled is month-to-month. If the plan ends, the SCG Core services and SCG’s ongoing Google Business Profile management end at the end of the paid service period unless another written arrangement is made.

Google Ads Management — Separate Agreement

Google Ads management is available separately by SCG approval and is not included in the standard SCG plan shown on the website.

Google Ads management requires a separate written agreement and currently carries a 90-day minimum service term unless SCG agrees otherwise in writing. SCG generally recommends this service only for established contractors prepared to invest at least $2,000 per month in Google ad spend.

The scope and SCG management fee for Google Ads will be stated in the separate agreement. Management may include campaign setup or management, search-term and negative-keyword review, local targeting, ad adjustments, and call or quote-form conversion tracking where technically available and properly configured.

Google ad spend is separate from SCG’s management fee and is paid directly to Google by the client, unless another arrangement is expressly agreed in writing.

Advertising results vary. SCG does not guarantee a specific number of leads, calls, form submissions, sales, revenue, cost per lead, ad position or return on advertising spend.

Monthly Billing and Cancellation

SCG Core and Everything Handled are month-to-month unless SCG and the client agree to a different term in writing. Monthly services may be billed in advance for the upcoming service period.

You may cancel a month-to-month service by contacting SCG before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future renewals and becomes effective at the end of the current paid service period unless SCG confirms an earlier date in writing.

Google Ads management is an exception when a separate agreement provides a minimum term, including the current standard 90-day minimum described above.

Except where required by law or otherwise agreed in writing, amounts already paid for a current monthly service period are not prorated after that period has begun.

Payments and Refunds

No setup fee or recurring payment is required to begin the standard free 30 day Field Hub trial unless SCG and the client separately agree to paid work, third-party costs or a different arrangement in writing.

Paid SCG services are due according to the invoice, checkout, subscription authorization or written payment terms provided for the service. SCG may pause paid work or paid services if an amount that is due remains unpaid.

Except where required by law or otherwise agreed in writing, amounts already paid for a current monthly service period are generally non-refundable after that service period has begun. Separate third-party costs, advertising spend, domain registration, premium assets, special licenses and other outside costs may also be non-refundable once incurred.

If SCG is unable or unwilling to provide a paid service before meaningful paid work begins, SCG may issue an appropriate refund or credit.

Edits and Additional Work

During the free trial, SCG may provide reasonable routine edits and launch support for the connected trial website, and the client may use the standard Field Hub features made available during the trial. Requests outside the standard trial scope or beyond routine edits may require additional payment or a separate project quote.

SCG will make reasonable efforts to identify out-of-scope work before performing material additional work that would create an extra charge.

SCG Field Hub Access and License

SCG Field Hub is proprietary software and remains owned by SCG and its licensors. During the free-trial period and any active paid Field Hub service period, SCG grants the client a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use Field Hub for the client’s own lawful business operations.

The client may not resell or sublicense Field Hub, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, use it to violate law or third-party rights, or copy, reverse engineer or extract proprietary software components except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

The client is responsible for safeguarding login credentials, controlling authorized users and using Field Hub lawfully when storing or processing customer information. Field Hub access ends when the free-trial or paid service period ends, subject to any separate written arrangement.

Before Field Hub access ends, the client is responsible for preserving any customer, job or business records it needs for ongoing operations. Where reasonably available, the client may use provided export tools or request reasonable export assistance from SCG. SCG does not promise indefinite storage of Field Hub data after service ends and may retain or delete data in accordance with the Privacy Policy, legal obligations, backup practices and legitimate business needs.

Website Ownership and Reusable SCG Materials

During the free trial, SCG retains ownership of the customized trial website files. After the client affirmatively continues onto an ongoing paid SCG plan and SCG receives the first required paid-plan payment, the client owns the delivered finished customized website files and client-specific content created specifically for that business, subject to third-party rights and SCG’s reusable materials described below.

SCG retains ownership of its pre-existing templates, frameworks, code patterns, systems, processes, reusable components, design methods, know-how and other non-client-specific materials. SCG may reuse, improve, adapt or incorporate those materials into work for other clients.

Client ownership of the finished website does not prevent SCG from using general techniques, layouts, reusable code, components or concepts that are not unique confidential property of the client.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, SCG may display the publicly available finished website, business name and non-confidential project information in SCG’s portfolio, examples, case studies or marketing materials.

Domain, Hosting and Account Access

During the free trial, SCG may host the connected website on a temporary web address under SCG’s control at no charge. If the client already owns a domain, SCG may connect the website to that domain when practical and when the client provides the required authorization or DNS access.

New domain registration and domain renewal fees are not included in the free trial. If the client purchases a new domain, the client is responsible for the registration and renewal costs unless SCG expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Clients should own and control their permanent domain whenever practical.

An active SCG Core or Everything Handled plan includes SCG-managed hosting and technical management. If the ongoing SCG plan is not continued or is later cancelled, SCG may provide the finished website files for self-management elsewhere. SCG is not obligated to continue hosting, editing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting or technically supporting the website without an active SCG plan or separate written arrangement.

Website features that depend on SCG Field Hub, SCG-managed endpoints or other ongoing SCG services may no longer function after the related service ends. A self-managed copy of the website may require the client or another provider to replace forms, integrations or other service-dependent components. Website ownership does not include a transfer or license of the Field Hub backend or other proprietary SCG services.

If the existing hosting arrangement cannot reasonably continue, SCG may provide the finished website files or reasonable transfer assistance so the client can move the website to another compatible hosting provider.

Third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting platforms, form processors, Google services, mapping tools and other technology providers are governed by their own terms, policies, availability and pricing.

No Search, Profile, Advertising or Lead Guarantees

SCG may build websites using reasonable technical and content practices and may assist with Google Business Profile or Google Ads services, but search engines and advertising platforms are controlled by third parties.

SCG does not guarantee organic search rankings, Google Maps placement, Business Profile verification, advertising approval, uninterrupted platform access, a specific number of leads or any particular business result.

Third-Party Services and Platform Changes

SCG is not responsible for outages, suspensions, policy changes, algorithm changes, account restrictions, price changes, security events or other actions caused by third-party platforms outside SCG’s reasonable control.

SCG may recommend reasonable adjustments when a third-party platform changes its requirements, but substantial migration or replacement work may require a separate quote.

Suspension or Termination of Services

SCG may suspend or terminate services for nonpayment, unlawful use, abusive conduct, repeated failure to provide required access or materials, requests that violate third-party platform policies or other material breaches of these Terms.

When reasonably practical, SCG will attempt to provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before terminating an ongoing service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SCG services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. SCG will use reasonable care in performing services but does not promise that a website, hosting service, form, analytics tool, Google product or other third-party system will be uninterrupted, error-free or immune from every security issue.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SCG will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunities, lost data or business interruption arising from or related to the services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SCG’s total liability for a claim arising from a particular service will not exceed the amount the client paid SCG for that affected service during the six months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or the amount paid for the affected one-time service if the claim relates to a one-time project.

Client-Provided Content and Business Claims

The client is responsible for the legality, accuracy and rights associated with content, claims, images, trademarks, offers, licenses, service descriptions and other materials supplied to or approved for use by SCG. SCG may refuse to publish content that reasonably appears unlawful, misleading, infringing or inconsistent with a third-party platform’s policies.

Privacy

SCG’s handling of personal information submitted through this website is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to Services, Pricing or These Terms

SCG may update service descriptions, published prices or these Terms from time to time. Changes to recurring-service pricing will apply prospectively and will be communicated before the new price is charged to an existing client.

The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when these Terms are materially updated.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Maine unless applicable law requires a different venue.
