Is the website really free?
Yes. For qualifying service businesses I take on, website design, setup and SCG-managed hosting are free for the first 30 days after launch. Field Hub is included. No payment is needed to submit the onboarding form or start the trial. After that, a paid SCG plan is required to keep both active.
Can I get started at any time?
Yes. This is an ongoing website program, not a one-time giveaway. I review onboarding submissions for service-business fit and take on new builds as my schedule allows. If I can't begin right away, I'll let you know the next available setup window.
What happens after I complete the onboarding form?
I review your business details and materials, then follow up about the next steps. For projects I take on, I use the information you submitted to prepare a personalized website preview. You can request changes before the website and Field Hub are launched.
How long does the onboarding form take?
Allow roughly 10–20 minutes, depending on how much information and how many project photos you have ready. Your answers help me build an almost-finished website without making you fill out a second form.
When does my 30-day trial begin?
Your trial starts when your customized website and Field Hub dashboard are live and ready for you to use — not while I'm building them.
Do I need to buy a domain name?
No. I'll start your website on a temporary SCG-owned subdomain. If you want a custom domain, you can purchase it yourself through a domain registrar in your own name, and I'll help connect it. Domain registration fees are separate.
What happens after 30 days?
If you want to keep your website and Field Hub running, choose an SCG plan starting at $99/month. If you don't continue, the website (including its temporary address) and Field Hub access are deactivated. There is no automatic charge or obligation to subscribe.
What if I buy my own domain and decide not to continue?
Your domain stays yours. I'll disconnect it from the SCG-managed website, and you can use it with another provider. Buying a domain does not grant ownership of the SCG trial website code.
Who owns the website files?
SCG retains ownership of the trial website files. Under the current SCG Terms, after you continue on a paid plan and make your first required payment, you own the finished customized website files (excluding SCG's reusable components). If you later cancel, SCG hosting and Field Hub access end; the website files can be provided for self-hosting, but Field Hub-dependent features will no longer work.
Does Field Hub work for my type of business?
Field Hub is designed for businesses managing customer inquiries, scheduled service jobs, on-site work and follow ups. I'll review each application for fit. Special estimating tools or complex custom software may require a separate quote.
What happens to my customer data if I leave?
Your business information and customer data remain yours. I'll provide an export path under the service terms. Field Hub access and the SCG website end when your trial or paid access ends, subject to any disclosed grace period.
